By Filipino Nanny | Data checked 21 August 2026
Filipino Nanny Agency received 71 client enquiry-form submissions between 1 April and 20 August 2026, compared with 35 during the same dates in 2025. That is a clear increase in enquiries reaching this agency, but it is not a national market survey and should not be presented as proof that UK-wide demand doubled.
The value of the data is narrower and more useful: it shows what families who reached our London-first agency actually asked about, which roles they selected, and how our own enquiry flow changed over time.
What our enquiry data shows
| Measure | Observed result |
|---|---|
| Client enquiry submissions, 1 Apr to 20 Aug 2025 | 35 |
| Client enquiry submissions, 1 Apr to 20 Aug 2026 | 71 |
| Total submissions stored from 1 Apr 2025 to 20 Aug 2026 | 203 |
| Most selected role across the full period | Nanny-Housekeeper (135 selections) |
| Nanny selections across the full period | 71 selections |
Method note: these figures come from Filipino Nanny Agency’s WPForms client enquiry form. The role field allows a family to select more than one role, so role-selection counts can exceed the number of unique enquiry submissions. The data measures submitted enquiries, not completed placements, market share or the size of the UK nanny sector.
From our work: how this dataset was assembled
The dataset comes from Filipino Nanny Agency’s live WPForms client enquiry form, form ID 735. We counted stored submissions dated from 1 April 2025 through 20 August 2026 and published only aggregated fields; no names, email addresses, phone numbers, postcodes or free-text answers are included. The form asks families to select one or more role types and then records full-time or part-time status, weekly hours, required days and an intended start date.
For the year-on-year comparison we used the same calendar window in both years: 1 April to 20 August. That produced 35 submissions in 2025 and 71 in 2026. We used the same-date window because August 2026 was incomplete at the time of analysis; comparing it with a full August 2025 would create an avoidable timing distortion.
The limitation is as important as the result. A form submission is an enquiry, not a completed placement, and the dataset does not identify the cause of the increase. Role selections are multi-select, so their counts are not mutually exclusive and must not be converted into market-share percentages. This methodology is sufficient to describe our own enquiry pattern and no more. We will keep the same method when this Trending Node is refreshed so later figures remain comparable.
The strongest signal is not “nanny only”
Across the 203 enquiry submissions in the dataset, the role field recorded 135 selections for Nanny-Housekeeper and 71 for Nanny. Housekeeper and Temporary/Holiday Nanny were each selected 17 times, while Temporary/Holiday Nanny-Housekeeper was selected 9 times.
Because families can select multiple options, those counts should not be converted into percentages of enquiries. What they do show is that combined childcare and household support is a prominent need among families reaching this agency. That is why our SCN separates the nanny, nanny-housekeeper and housekeeper roles rather than treating them as interchangeable labels.
What the year-on-year comparison can and cannot tell us
The same-date comparison is useful because it avoids comparing a complete 2025 month with a partial August 2026 month. Enquiries rose from 35 to 71 between the two April-to-20-August windows.
However, this does not isolate the cause. Changes in search visibility, website traffic, advertising, brand awareness, seasonality, referral activity or the agency’s own reach could all affect submission volume. The dataset therefore supports the statement that this agency received more enquiries; it does not support a claim that the entire UK market grew by the same amount.
Why we do not turn nationality into a quality claim
Families may deliberately search for a Filipino nanny or nanny-housekeeper, and Filipino Nanny Agency specialises in that candidate community. But an increase in nationality-specific enquiries does not prove that an individual Filipino candidate is more caring, loyal, reliable, hardworking or suitable than someone of another nationality.
Acas advises employers to use job-relevant recruitment criteria rather than nationality as a proxy for a skill or requirement. In practice, families should assess the individual person’s relevant experience, references, communication, right to work, availability, qualifications where relevant and fit with the duties being offered. Our Why Families Choose Filipino Nannies guide explains that evidence-based selection framework in more detail.
What families are asking the agency to define
Our enquiry form separates the role from the working pattern. A family selects Nanny, Nanny-Housekeeper, Temporary/Holiday Nanny, Temporary/Holiday Nanny-Housekeeper or Housekeeper, then separately states Full Time or Part-time, weekly hours, required days, postcode and intended start date.
This matters because “demand for a nanny” is not one uniform product. Some households need childcare only; others need a genuine combined role; some need a smaller part-time schedule; others need temporary cover. The role-selection data is more useful when read as a mix of household problems than as one headline market statistic.
How should a family use this information?
Higher enquiry volume can make it sensible to define the role before starting a search. A clear brief helps the agency compare candidates against the actual work rather than using a generic job title.
If you are unsure which role fits, start with Nanny, Nanny-Housekeeper or Housekeeper: Which Do You Need?. If childcare is the clear priority, see our Filipino nanny services in London. If childcare and household work are both substantial, see the nanny-housekeeper service.
How we will keep this page current
This is a Trending Node in our content plan, so the figures should not be allowed to age into an evergreen claim. We will re-check the enquiry dataset quarterly and update the visible data date when new figures are added. If the form, service area or role choices materially change, comparisons across periods will need to be re-explained rather than silently continued.
